Meet the team.

After finishing college, I looked for a profession where I could use the qualifications I had earned. I settled into a role at a large National estate agency chain and enjoyed the role whilst learning all about the property market from both the perspective of the seller and the vendor, and how every transaction could be affected by the simplest of issues.

I’d been a ski and snow board enthusiast from an early age and was given an opportunity to live and work abroad which I gleefully accepted and was an amazing experience and something that really helped me understand further ‘The client journey’, as holidays can mean so much to people.

I had an open option to join an insurance firm and took it on the proviso I became a Mortgage Broker with them, and after gaining the qualifications in my own time, I then looked to take on the role. Working within one of North Yorkshires leading Estate Agents had its challenges but, it was great learning. Their prime goal was the house sale, which at times meant their priority was not aligned with the clients I was working on behalf of! Being truly Independent was key to my decision to setting up on my own. I had met Roxy several times and realised we shared the same drive, commitment, and integrity , and so we formed – we both adhere to the core principals that run through the business and remind our clients that its our JOB to get you the mortgage, we are OBLIGED to find out everything about you, to give you the best possible advice, but its our DUTY to make sure, whatever happens, you and your dependents can stay in the home. I am the proud Mum to two gorgeous little girls and to relax, I horse ride and enjoy a fantastic family life.
